The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly happening.
